Mario Kart DS Emblems

November 19, 2005 - 9:57am

I've gotten Mario Kart DS, like every other DS owner in the free world. It also means that I haven't been doing much of anything else. I've started a new page on the site, MK Emblems, which will house any Mario Kart DS emblems I make, complete with a filled out template if you want to jock my style and steal my work. If you do, I'd like a little credit.

TxtWriter v0.3

November 11, 2005 - 5:13am

I have finally gotten to a point where I am comfortable releasing v0.3 of TxtWriter. This version has intra-document editing, so you can edit and make changes at other points in the document other than the end. It also has a much spiffier user interface, and dialog boxes for confirmations and alerts. It has an updated extended keyboard and more use of the keys. The F1 key now saves a file and F2 opens the file menu so that all operations, except for delete, can be done via the touch screen.

TxtWriter v0.2

November 6, 2005 - 3:38am

Got to a point I felt it is worth releasing another version of my li'l DS program, TxtWriter. v0.2 sports a file menu allowing you to open and delete previously saved files. In addition, there is also now file overwriting confirmation. The file list is even alphabetized. The text engine has been rewritten to support scrolling for long pages, and word wrapping has been incorporated. Haven't added any pretty graphics yet. I'm getting a little burnt on programming this thing, so I may take some time and play around in Photoshop and work the right side of my brain a little while giving my left side some well deserved rest.

TxtWriter v0.1

November 2, 2005 - 5:28am

Just released the 0.1 version of my first DS homebrew app: TxtWriter. It's not very fancy looking or feature rich, but it's working. You type in notes with a virtual keyboard and save them to a CF card.

New Beginning

October 31, 2005 - 1:59pm

Started this website as a central repository for my DS related projects. I'm learning how to program homebrewed apps and game for the DS, so I wanted some place to put them. I threw up a Simpsons theme I made for Mighty Max's GBAMP Multiboot, and have a couple of other older little things to add. I'm working on a couple homebrewed apps that I will throw up when I get working versions.
